Khatlon Region’s Agricultural Exports Exceed Past Indicators
DUSHANBE, 16.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – In the first six months of this year, over 82,000 tonnes of agricultural products have been exported from Khatlon, reports its regional department of agriculture.
Over 14,400 tonnes have been exported by road, and 68,400 tonnes by rail. The annual plan for the export of agricultural products has been fulfilled by 92.1%, the source said.
The volume of exports have increased by more than 7,100 tonnes compared to last year. Over 80,400 tonnes of vegetables, of which 80,400 tonnes of onions, 59,800 tonnes of melons, 2,300 tonnes of fruits and 36,000 tonnes of other products have so far been exported to Russia, Lithuania, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
