Tajik and Russian Labor Ministers Discuss Protection of the Migrants’ Rights and Interests
DUSHANBE, 11.07.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The issues of cooperation and the solution of a number of issues were discussed yesterday during a video conversation between Tajik and Russian labor ministers Gulru Jabborzoda and Anton Kotyakov.
The ministers discussed the current state of bilateral relations and the prospects for cooperation within the framework of the signed documents, including the agreement on organized recruitment of Tajik citizens for temporary work in Russia, and the agreement between the two ministries.
These documents aim to strengthen cooperation and protect the rights and interests of migrant workers, including the regulation of the labor market.
The parties also exchanged views on the creation of a group of joint experts for the effective implementation of existing documents on cooperation, as well as on the development of a Work Plan for 2021-2022.
