Ministry of Internal Affairs Prevented Two Terrorist Acts

DUSHANBE, 03.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Ministry of Internal Affairs last has prevented two terrorist acts prepared against the employees of the internal affairs bodies in the Shahrinav and Rasht districts. The actions were planned by the members of the Islamic State organization, announced the Minister of Internal Affairs Ramazon Rahimzoda during a press conference today.
According to him, during this period 875 crimes of a terrorist and extremist nature were identified and registered, 274 members of terrorist and extremist organizations were detained, including 203 from the extremist-terrorist organization Ikhwan-ul-muslimeen (also known as the Muslim Brotherhood), 27 from ISIS, 17 from Salafiya, eight members of Ansarullah, 4 of Group-24, three from the Islamic Renaissance Party, two from Hizb-ut-Tahrir, one from the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, and one from the Taliban movement.
As a result of the explanatory work, 92 people were returned from the war zone.
