President Emomali Rahmon Signed an Executive Order to Increase the Salaries, Pensions and Scholarships

DUSHANBE, 04.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – In order to increase of the income and the living quality level of the population, as well as strengthen social support of citizens, President Emomali Rahmon has signed an executive order to increase the salaries, pensions and scholarships.
In line with the executive order, from 1 September, wages of employees of budgetary institutions and organizations, pensions and scholarships will be increased by 15%.
The official salaries of employees of organizations and institutions in the spheres of education, science, culture, sports, social protection, real sectors of the economy and employees of other organizations and institutions financed by the state budget, as well as organizations and institutions whose salaries are equal to the salaries of civil servants will be increased by 15%.
In addition, salaries of servicemen, ordinary and senior staff of internal affairs bodies, prosecutor’s offices and other law enforcement agencies will be increased by 10 %.
Social old-age pensions (with the exception of pensions for mothers who have given birth to ten children and raised them up to eight years of age), children with disabilities under 18 years, other groups of non-working disabled people in need of supervision for whom pension is established by the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan About Provision of Pensions, will increase by 50% of the minimum retirement age pension.
