Tajik Legionnaire Umarboev Wins Bulgarian Super Cup with Lokomotiv

DUSHANBE, 03.08.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The midfielder of the national team of Tajikistan Parvizjon Umarboev, playing for Plovdiv’s Lokomotiv, won the Bulgarian Super Cup.
In the Super Cup match, Lokomotiv beat the Bulgarian champion Ludogorets with the score of 1-0. Umarboev played all 90 minutes on the field.
This is the third title won in the Plovdiv’s Lokomotiv for Umarboev. The Tajik player is the victor of the Bulgarian Cup for two years in a row with his club.
This year, Umarboev’s club will play in the qualifying round of the 2020/2021 Europe League.
Umarboev has been defending Lokomotiv since 2016. While with Plovdiv the last four years, Umarboev has played more than 100 matches.
