DUSHANBE, 02.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a message of condolences to President of India Ram Nath Kovind.
The message, reads in part:
Your Excellency,
We are saddened by the news of the death of a prominent political and statesman, former President of the Republic of India Pranab Mukherjee.
With his faithful service and versatile and productive activity in various high and important government positions, he gained high respect and prestige in the country and abroad.
In connection with this tragedy, I express my sincere condolences and sympathy to the relatives and friends of the deceased and all the friendly people of India.
