Tajik Government Condemns Terrorist Attack Against Afghan First Vice-President Amrullah Soleh

DUSHANBE, 10.09.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The government of Tajikistan strongly condemns the shameful terrorist attack that was committed yesterday morning in Kabul against the Afghan First Vice-President Amrullah Saleh, as a result of which a number of people were killed and injured.
The government of Tajikistan also expresses condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wishes the injured a full recovery. The official statement notes that Tajikistan has always stood by Afghanistan in the fight against terrorism and is interested in restoring lasting peace and stability in the neighboring country.
Yesterday morning an attack was committed against the Afghan First Vice-President Amrullah Saleh in Kabul, as a result of which at least 10 people were killed and 15 others, including three his bodyguards were injured. Saleh himself was not harmed.
