President Rahmon Says that Election Attests to Strong Civic Position of Tajiks

DUSHANBE, 12.10.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – On October 11 our beloved country held another important and crucial historical event, — the election of the President of Tajikistan. The majority of citizens of Tajikistan cast their ballots in support of incumbent President Emomali Rahmon.
President Rahmon noted with pride and satisfaction that the presidential election was a triumph of unity and mutual understanding of the people, which reflected the high political culture and strong civic position, self-knowledge and self-awareness and national pride of Tajiks.
The policy pursued by the state and the government is aimed at further strengthening peace, stability, national statehood, economic and social development, and improving the living standards.
President Rahmon also stressed that the election serves as a sign of complete political peace, stability, unity and mutual understanding of the Tajik people that will further enhance the image of Tajikistan in the international arena and the world community.
