DUSHANBE, 12.10.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the initiative of the Uzbek side.

President Mirziyoyev congratulated the leader of our nation with the occasion of his re-election as the President of Tajikistan and wished the people of Tajikistan peace, stability, and prosperity.

He also noted President Rahmon’s meritorious services before the proud people of Tajikistan. The counterparts continued discussing various aspects of the multifaceted cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan and exchanged their views concerning both international and regional matters.

President Rahmon emphasized the importance of the bonds of friendly relations and good neighborliness between the peoples of the two nations, which are a reliable basis for the development of strategic partnership.
