Khujand Hosts Meeting of Tajik-Uzbek Joint Commission on International Road Transport

DUSHANBE, 28.11.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – A meeting of the Tajik-Uzbek Joint Commission on International Road Transport was held on November 26 and November 27 in Khujand.
The meeting focused on issues relating to bilateral cooperation in the field of international road transport, the opening of additional international routes in the field of passenger and transit, making amendments to the existing agreement to simplify the process of road transport, the exchange of permits for 20 years of international road transport, exchange of experience on the introduction of digitalization in transport and other issues.
Following the meeting, a protocol was signed on the issues discussed, which was signed by the Tajik Deputy Minister of Transport Shoista Saidmurodzoda and the Uzbek Deputy Minister of Transport Davron Dehkonov.
