National and Representative Assemblies Hold Joint Meeting

DUSHANBE, 10.12.2020 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the National and Representative Assemblies held a joint meeting, which was chaired by the Speaker of the National Assembly Rustam Emomali.
The meeting was attended by the Speaker of the Representatives Assembly Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda, Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda, his deputies, ministers and chairmen of state committees, Assistant to the President for Legal Affairs – President’s Plenipotentiary to the National and Representatives Assemblies Zarif Alizoda, chairmen of the Constitutional Court, Supreme Court and High Economic Court, Prosecutor General, Chairman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda, chairman of the Accounts Chamber, director of the Agency for State Financial Control and Fight Against Corruption and the chairman of the National Bank.
According to the joint meeting agenda, Alizoda talked about presidential decrees on the release and appointment of government members.
The officials unanimously voted to approve the decrees.
