Sada Holiday Will Be Celebrated in Dushanbe Tomorrow

DUSHANBE, 30.01.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Tomorrow, Dushanbe’s Abulkosim Firdavsi Culture and Leisure Park will host the Sada holiday celebrations with an exhibition of seedlings and seeds of agricultural crops.
A bonfire a symbol of Sada will also be lit in the park.
At the holiday, rural workers of cities and districts will demonstrate working agricultural tools, varieties of seeds of various crops, industry equipment, national dishes, and will organize a fair-sale of seedlings, decorative flowers and other products embodying the celebration of Sada.
This event is initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration Dushanbe administration.
The Ministry of Agriculture will award farms that made a significant contribution to the country’s food security last year with Certificates of Honor and gifts.
Sada is one of the oldest Tajik holidays. It is celebrated 50 days before Navruz, the Eastern New Year which falls on March 21.
