DUSHANBE, 01.02.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On February 1, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD – 11.3100 TJS,

1 Euro – 13.7284 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – 0.1488 TJS.

Also on February 1, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 11.3100 TJS to 11.3300 TJS

1 Euro – from 13.7284 to 13.8800 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1488 TJS to 0.1510 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face4 punitive damages and criminal charges.
