Tajik and Uzbek FMs Meet in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 19.02.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the his Uzbek counterpart Abdulaziz Kamilov, who arrived in Dushanbe on a one-day working visit.
The foreign ministers discussed a range of bilateral issues of Tajik-Uzbek political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
They also exchanged views on the cooperation of the two countries within international and regional organizations.
While expressing satisfaction with fraternal and mutually respectful bilateral ties, the ministers stressed that through the efforts of the foreign ministries they will continue to maintain a high level of strategic partnership relations and consistently fulfill the tasks set by the heads of state.
