Republican Tennis Tournament Starts in Dushanbe Today

DUSHANBE, 15.03.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Republican tennis tournament starts today in Dushanbe in honor of the International Navruz holiday.
Competitions will be held among young people and adolescents 10-13 and 14-17 years old. Teams from Dushanbe, Sughd and Khatlon regions, cities and districts of republican subordination will take part in competitions.
The tournament will be held in individual, doubles and mixed forms and will run until March 19.
The tournament is aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle, involve adolescents in physical culture and sports, popularize tennis, improve the professional skills of athletes and strengthen friendly relations between young athletes.
