DUSHANBE, 12.04.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – On April 12, the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) determined the official exchange rate of foreign currencies for accounting and payment of customs duties as follows:

1 USD – 11.3195 TJS,

1 Euro – 13.4555 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – 0.1460 TJS.

Also April 12, the average selling rate of cash foreign currencies in credit institutions of Tajikistan is:

1 USD – from 11.3195 TJS to 11.3400 TJS

1 Euro – from 13.4555 to 13.9000 TJS,

1 Russian ruble – from 0.1460 TJS to 0.1510 TJS.

NBT warns that foreign exchange operations are prohibited outside bank branches, bank service center offices, as well as at ATMs and payment terminals located within the country. Failure to comply with these requirements will be considered a violation of the law and violators could face4 punitive damages and criminal charges.
