AFC Thanks Football Federation for Successful Organization of Centralized Tournament

DUSHANBE, 21.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) thanked the Football Federation of Tajikistan and the local organizing committee for the successful organization of the 2021 AFC Cup centralized tournament in Group F, which took place from May 14 through May 20 in Dushanbe.
The official letter of the AFC General Secretary Dato Windsor John, which was addressed to the FFT General Secretary Davlatmand Islomov states:
“Congratulations to the Football Federation of Tajikistan and the local organizing committee for the successful organization of the 2021 AFC Cup centralized tournament in Group F.
The success of the tournament is no doubt a demonstration of the dedication, hard work of the FFT and the local organizing committee in ensuring a high level of organization, despite the difficult circumstances of the pandemic.
We thank the local organizing committee for the excellent hospitality extended to the AFC delegation and the participating clubs, and for all measures taken to ensure and protect the health and well-being of all participants throughout the tournament.
Thank you all, and we look forward to further cooperation with the FFT.”
The AFC Cup centralized tournament in Group F with the participation of Khujand (Tajikistan), Nasaf (Uzbekistan), Altyn Asyr (Turkmenistan) and Alai (Kyrgyzstan) was held from May 14 through May 20 in Dushanbe. A total of six matches were played. The matches were attended by 12,850 spectators. The winner of the group was Nasaf, which won all three matches played in the group stage.
