Tajiks in the Mirror of History Presented in Uzbekistan

DUSHANBE, 04.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, per initiative of the former Ambassador of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan Sodik Imomi in collaboration with the support of the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a presentation of President Emomali Rahmon’s book Tajiks in the Mirror of History which has been printed in Uzbek.
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, ambassadors of foreign countries, director of the International Institute of Central Asia, rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, heads of departments of the National University of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek State University of World Languages, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper Ovozi Tojik and others.
Participants expressed their opinion about the book, which focuses on the history and culture of the Tajik people and their role in Central Asia.
Also, special attention was paid to the friendship of the Tajik and Uzbek people, and the role of the leaders of the two countries in the development of bilateral cooperation.
