DUSHANBE, 05.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Per President Emomali Rahmon’s instruction all the destroyed and damaged houses will be rebuilt within a month. This point was stated today by the Chairman of Sughd region Rajabboy Ahmadzoda during a visit to the houses destroyed as a result of the border conflict in late April.
Ahmadzoda inspected the current state of housing in the villages of Khoja Alo and Somoniyon and talked with their owners.
Currently, the working commission for the reconstruction of houses in the border areas is active around-the-clock in Isfara, and the necessary measures are being taken toward this direction.
“The state and the government are on the side of the people, and together with you under the instructions of President Rahmon we will restore all the buildings,” said Ahmadzoda.
According to residents, their homes were deliberately set on fire by citizens of the neighboring Kyrgyz Republic, which was videotaped and posted on social networks.
The affected families have been provided with food by the regional administration.
