Sports Games of Tajikistan Will Be Held From May 21 Through June 30

DUSHANBE, 17.05.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Sports Games of Tajikistan will be held from May 21 through June 30 in honor of independence’s 30th anniversary.
The program includes basketball, boxing, weightlifting, athletics, volleyball, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, archery, karate, rowing, sambo, taekwondo, handball, judo, and swimming.
The games will begin on May 22 with athletics competitions and will last two days.
Competitions will be held on June 1-2 in wrestling, June 3-4 in Greco-Roman wrestling and karate, June 5-6 in swimming, June 7-8 in freestyle wrestling, June 9-10 in judo and taekwondo, June 10-14 in women’s volleyball, June 11-12 in sambo, June 12-13 in weightlifting, June 13-17 in weightlifting, June 18-22 in men’s basketball, June 23-27 in men’s volleyball, June 24-25 rowing and canoeing, June 25-29 for boxing and June 28-29 for archery.
Additionally weightlifting, archery and volleyball competitions will be held among women, the rest of the competitions will be held in Dushanbe. Weightlifting competitions are planned in Kulob, women’s volleyball in Khorog, and archery in Khujand.
