About 12,000 Doctors and 36,000 Nurses Treat COVID-19 Patients in Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 27.07.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – About 12,000 doctors and 36,000 nurses treat COVID-19 patients in Tajikistan. This was stated by the First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Ghafur Muhsinzoda at a press conference.
He added that each of these specialists has specialized training.
“Their work schedule is very strict and patients are under observation 24 hours a day,” Muhsinzoda said.
According to Muhsinzoda, the country has issued the fifth edition of the guidelines for the treatment and prevention of coronavirus with established standards. The manuals are delivered throughout the country so that treatment in all medical institutions in Tajikistan is carried out according to the same model.
The Republican COVID-19 Prevention Commission announced the presence of the second wave of coronavirus in Tajikistan on June 21.
