Belarus Donates Aid to Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 25.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Belarus provided assistance to Tajikistan in the form of power generators, tents, food, and medical supplies, reported the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense.
The official transfer of 40 tonnes of cargo took place today under the general coordination of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus.
The humanitarian cargo was accompanied by a delegation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus led by the First Deputy Minister Alexander Khudoleev.
The Belarusian delegation was met by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense Sulaimon Isozoda at the Ayni military airfield.
He thanked the Belarusian side for the provided support to the population of Tajikistan and noted his appreciation of the cooperation between Tajikistan and Belarus in the field of prevention and elimination of the consequences of emergencies.
