Health Ministry Awards Doctors from the UAE with Certificates of Honor

DUSHANBE, 30.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, doctors from the United Arab Emirates who together with leading Tajik specialists performed operations on children and adolescents diagnosed with congenital heart disease, were awarded certificates of honor by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan.
Health Minister Jamoliddin Abdullozoda expressed gratitude to the doctors for the initiative and called it a continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
Souvenirs were handed over to children who underwent surgery.
From October 23 through November 2, at the initiative of the Health Ministry in collaboration with the UAE, children with congenital heart defects undergo operations free of charge in the Istiklol health complex.
The goal of the initiative is to support low-income families raising children with congenital heart defects.
