Tajikistan and Uzbekistan Resume Bus Routes

DUSHANBE, 18.10.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The bus route between Khujand and Tashkent will start operating from October18, reports Asian Express.
The first bus will depart from Tajikistan to Uzbekistan today.
A one-way trip will cost passengers 100 somoni. The route will operate daily.
Passengers will be transported on comfortable double-decker buses.
The bus will leave Khujand at 8:00. So far only one trip will take place daily, but soon the company will add more to their schedule.
The return time of departure from Tashkent is 18:00.
When crossing the border with Uzbekistan, citizens must present a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 or the results of an express test.
Earlier, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had promised to launch transit buses between the Syrdarya region and Tajikistan.
