Tajikistan and Turkey Discuss Prospects for TV and Radio Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 03.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The current state and prospects of cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkey in the field of television and radio were discussed yesterday at the meeting of the Chairman of the Committee for Television and Radio Nuriddin Said and the Turkish Ambassador to Tajikistan Emre Zeki Karagöl, reports the Committee’s Press Secretary Ibrohim Ahmadov.
Said recalled the history of diplomatic relations between the two countries, especially in the field of television and radio.
He also noted that on December 18, 2012, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the Committee for Television and Radio under the government of Tajikistan and the Union of Television and Radio of Turkey, which plays an important role in expanding sectoral cooperation.
The meeting also focused on expanding cooperation in the field of studying mutual experience, training specialists in various fields of television and radio, holding joint seminars and conferences, improving the qualifications of creative and technical personnel, as well as a draft protocol on cooperation between the Committee for Television and Radio under the government of Tajikistan and the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation.
Karagöl, in turn, informed about the activities of Turkish television and radio. He also expressed his country’s readiness to cooperate in these areas.
