DUSHANBE, 25.11.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The situation in Tajikistan concerning the COVID-19 pandemic is stable due to the consistent effort of the government. This was stated yesterday by the UNDP Resident Representative in Tajikistan Pratibha Mehta at a meeting with the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Jamoliddin Abdullozoda.
As Abdullozoda noted, the ministry has mobilized all possible resources to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As a result, the epidemiological situation in the country has stabilized.
“The contribution of the UNDP in Tajikistan during this period is enormous. I would like to thank you once again for your support in creating the Communication Center, as it greatly facilitated the work of the ministry with subordinate institutions,” Abdullozoda said.
The parties expressed interest in strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation.
