Secondary School Teachers Get Opportunity to Improve Their Teaching Skills Through American Fulbright Program

DUSHANBE, 30.12.2021 (NIAT Khovar) – The US Embassy in Tajikistan announced the 2022-2023 Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program – Media Literacy Cohort, a program of the US Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) and administered by IREX.
The Fulbright TEA Media Literacy Cohort brings international secondary school teachers to the United States for a six-week program to take coursework for professional development at a host university, observe and share their expertise with US colleagues, and develop action plans to promote media literacy and critical thinking skills in their home schools and communities.
Fulbright Teachers support people-to-people diplomacy throughout their time in the US.
All participants will get opportunities to observe, co-teach, and share their expertise in US secondary schools.
The deadline for submitting documents is February 20, 2022.
The Fulbright Program is an educational grants program founded in 1946 and sponsored by former US Senator James Fulbright and funded by the Department of State.
