La Traviata Will Be Performed in Tajikistan for the First Time

DUSHANBE, 19.01.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Sadriddin Ayni Tajik State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater is implementing a new international project with the participation of stars from Tajikistan, Italy, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
Giuseppe Verdi’s immortal opera La Traviata in the original language will be presented on the stage of the theater in February.
“The best artists of the Tajik opera, our inimitable orchestra with Maestro Delfo Menicucci, Professor of the Milan Conservatory, our soloists, together with the People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Ramiz Usmanov and the Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Afag Abbasova, will present the opera La Traviata. “The diamond of the classical repertoire — “La Traviata” — an imperishable story about a lost, but striving for salvation soul, healed by love, will acquire a new sound on our stage,” reported the Tajik State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.
