Somon Air: UAE Aviation Authority Updated the Protocol for Passengers Flying from Tajikistan

DUSHANBE, 20.01.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – According to the updated Dubai Travel Protocol of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, starting from January 17, 2022, passengers traveling from Tajikistan to the UAE are required to present a valid negative COVID-19 test certificate that should be based on molecular diagnostic intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid for SARS-COV-2 viral RNA, that is issued within the valid time frame, namely, 48 hours from the time of collecting the sample and from approved health service, which use QR code system, reports Somon Air’s press service.
Upon arrival at the Dubai Airport, it is mandatory to undergo PCR testing. Until the test result is received, the passenger must be in self-quarantine.
In order to avoid the spread of COVID-19, when checking in for a flight, it is necessary to present a certificate (original document) with a negative PCR test result. A certificate without indicating a negative COVID-19 test result will not be accepted. The certificate must contain the passenger’s first and last name (preferably in English), date of birth, a negative PCR test result for COVID-19, and a QR code (for those flying to Russia).
Passengers flying to Tajikistan must have a certificate with a negative PCR test result. Children under the age of 3 are exempt from taking the PCR test.
