Tajik Team Will Compete for Bronze at the CAFA Women Futsal Championship

DUSHANBE, 26.01.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The fourth round of the 2022 CAFA Women Futsal Championship has ended. The main contenders for the gold — Iran and Uzbekistan won the tournament.
In the fourth round, Tajikistan lost to Uzbekistan with a score of 0-5. With the same result, Iran beat Kyrgyzstan.
With four victories Iran leads the standings, while the Uzbek team has nine points. Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan have one point each.
In the next round, Iran and Uzbekistan’s meeting will determine the first champion of the CAFA Women Futsal Championship.
The first ever CAFA Women’s Futsal Championship is being held in Dushanbe in a two-round round robin with each team playing six matches. A total of twelve matches will be played in the tournament. The winning team will be determined by the highest number of scored points.
