DUSHANBE, 02.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali and representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Tajikistan attended the ceremony for the equipment which was provided to Dushanbe.

In recent years, in the field of public utilities and the use of roads, there has been a problem of a lack of modern technology, which has affected the quality of services provided.

In order to import modern technology, fruitful cooperation was established with China.

As part of cooperation in 2021, administration of Dushanbe Chairman agreed on a non-refundable technical assistance and the import of 466 various public utility vehicles.

With the implementation of the agreement in 16 stages, 413 units of equipment have been received to date, and the rest 53 are in the process of importation.

The transfer of equipment included 155 passenger buses of various types, 52 units of trucks, 48 ​​special vehicles for transporting garbage, 40 watering trucks, 22 small double-row trucks, 20 fire trucks, 1 grader, 18 rollers, 7 truck cranes, 15 tow trucks , 1 bitumen distribution equipment, pipe clearing vehicle, as well as specialized vehicles, including 7 units for diagnosing and repairing heating mains, 1 unit of a fire fighting equipment control center, 4 units of ambulance vehicles, and 1 unit of equipment for transporting hypochlorite sodium.

The received municipal machinery and equipment were allocated according to the requirements and needs of the structures of the administration of Dushanbe Chairman, including municipal enterprises for garbage collection, landscaping, parks, institutions for the operation of roads, heat supply, passenger transport and fire fighting services.

In this regard, with the participation of Chinese specialists, online training courses were held for one month with responsible persons and employees of enterprises and institutions, and the relevant structures of the administration of Dushanbe Chairman.

With the arrival of new municipal equipment, technical park of industrial enterprises will be fully modernized, taking into account the existing equipment, and its activities will be carried out more efficiently.
