Tajik U-23 Football Team to Go Against Saudi Arabia, UAE and Japan at the 2022 Asian Cup

DUSHANBE, 18.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The draw for the 2022 U-23 Asian Cup took place in Tashkent, where Tajikistan’s rivals were announced.
According to the results of the draw, 16 teams were divided into 4 groups. The Tajik team ended up in Group D, where they will play against Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Japan.
Following the group round, the two best teams from each group will continue to fight for medals and form quarter-final pairs.
In case the team leaves the group in the 1/4 finals, Tajikistan will play against one of the teams from Group C — South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam or Malaysia.
