Tajikistan’s Rivals Declared for the Asian Cup 2023 Qualifying Tournament

DUSHANBE, 24.02.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the draw for the Asian Cup 2023 qualifying tournament took place at the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation in Kuala Lumpur, reports to the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
According to its results, 6 groups of 4 teams each were formed. The national football team of Tajikistan will play in Group F against Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar and Singapore. The matches of Group F will be held in a centralized format in one round from June 8 through June 14 in Bishkek.
Eleven teams will reach the Asian Cup 2023, including 6 group winners, as well as 5 teams that take second places with the best results.
The results of the draw are as follows:
Group A: Jordan, Kuwait (host), Indonesia, Nepal.
Group B: Palestine, Philippines, Yemen, Mongolia (host).
Group C: Uzbekistan (host), Thailand, Maldives, Sri Lanka.
Group D: India (host), Hong Kong, Afghanistan, Cambodia.
Group E: Bahrain, Turkmenistan, Malaysia (host), Bangladesh.
Group F: Kyrgyzstan (host), TAJIKISTAN, Myanmar, Singapore.
