Maliksho Nematzoda Holds Phone Talk with Kudratillo Rafikov and Sergeus Glovatskas on Further Cooperation

DUSHANBE, 31.03.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, Chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan (FITU) Maliksho Nematzoda had a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan Kudratillo Rafikov and the Director of the International Labor Organization (ILO) for Europe and Central Asia Sergeyus Glovatskas.
The conversations focused on bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The parties exchanged views on the current state of interaction and expressed their readiness to expand further cooperation.
The contribution of the ILO to the regulation of labor relations and the development of social partnership between governments, trade unions and employers is very significant, and its adopted documents in the form of conventions and recommendations contribute to the fair regulation of labor relations.
To date, Tajikistan has ratified 51 conventions and 22 recommendations of the ILO.
In November 2021 in Tashkent, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Trade Union Federations of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
