Tajikistan Will Host 2023 U-17 and U-20 Asian Cup Qualifiers

DUSHANBE, 16.05.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Asian Football Confederation has announced the countries that will host the 2023 AFC U-17 and U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers this autumn.
The U-17 qualifiers, which will be held from October 1 through October 9, will be hosted by Australia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. Ten groups will be formed here: six groups of four teams and four groups of five teams.
The winners of ten qualifying groups and the top five teams that took second places will reach the U-17 Asian Cup, which will be held from May 3 through May 20, 2023 in Bahrain.
Bahrain, Indonesia, Iraq, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Mongolia, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan will host the 2023 AFC U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers. They will be held from September 10 through September 18.
Following the draw, 44 teams will be divided into ten groups: six groups of four teams and four groups of five teams.
The winners of ten qualifying groups and the five best teams that took second places will reach U-20 Asian Cup, which will be held from March 1 through March 18 next year in Uzbekistan.
