Dushanbe Will Host Meeting of the Heads of the Water-Climate Coalition

DUSHANBE, 04.06.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, as part of the Second High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028», Dushanbe will host meeting of the heads of the Water-Climate Coalition, as well as the seventh meeting of the Dushanbe International Water Advisory Committee.
The Dushanbe International Water Advisory Committee was established at the initiative of Tajikistan from among high-ranking representatives and international experts of the UN, its departments and international organizations in order to promote the implementation of the International Decade for Action «Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028.”
It is expected that members of the International Water Advisory Committee of the Dushanbe Water Process will visit historical and cultural sites, large water objects of Tajikistan, including the Roghun HPP, the Dushanbe Water Festival and take part in other events organized as part of the Dushanbe Water Conference.
