DUSHANBE, 31.08.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the Speaker of the National Assembly, Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali attended the opening ceremony of a new building of the General Secondary Education Institution No. 12 in Somoni district.
The construction was funded by the city administration and is designed to accommodate 1,500 schoolchildren in two shifts. The school has 30 classrooms and modern technical laboratories.
This was followed by the opening ceremonies for a new building of General Secondary Education Institution No. 48 in Shohmansur district and the Omar Khayyam Lyceum.
The four-story General Secondary Educational Institution No. 48 features 31 classrooms. The constructed facility is designed for 1,280 students in two shifts. The Omar Khayyam Lyceum was constructed at the initiative of Dushanbe’s administration. The school building features eight buildings, with a capacity to accommodate 1,200 schoolchildren.
