DUSHANBE, 12.09.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a congratulatory message to the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Charles III.

The message reads:

It is with honor and pleasure that I extend to you my sincere congratulations and best wishes on your ascension to the throne of the King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

I wish you good health and ever-increasing success in fulfilling your responsibilities and  to the people of the United Kingdom I wish peace, stability, progress, and lasting prosperity.

Earlier this year we celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our country and the United Kingdom, which was one of the first states to recognize the independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Tajikistan remains interested in further strengthening cooperation in all areas of mutual interests.

I express the hope that the constructive partnership between our countries, due to consistent joint efforts, will continue to develop and expand in line with the principles of friendship, mutual understanding, respect, and in accordance with the fundamental interests of the two sides.
