Emomali Rahmon Signs Extremism Bill Into Law
DUSHANBE, 02.01.2020. (NIAT Khovar) – The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon signed a package of bills into law.
Among them is the law “On Countering Extremism,” «On Early Warning Systems and the Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency,» “On Water Users’ Associations,» “On Treasury” and “On Plant Cultivation.”
The laws’ aim is to develop the socio-economic sphere, entrepreneurship, finance and tax systems, juvenile delinquency prevention, combating corruption, extremism and, in general, to improve the living standard of the people and to protect human rights and fundamental freedoms.
