According to her, today the relationship between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan is developing in an upward trajectory.
“This year marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. A meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan was held earlier this year, after which Speaker of the National Assembly of Tajikistan Rustam Emomali and other high-ranking leaders of Tajikistan visited Azerbaijan,” she noted.
“Today’s meeting with the top leadership of Tajikistan gave us the opportunity to once again discuss our further development. In this regard, inter-parliamentary relations are one of the main links in the development of relations between the two countries,” Gafarova added.
