Tajikistan and Belarus Intend to Develop Cooperation in Youth Policy

DUSHANBE, 12.10.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Belarus and Tajikistan intend to develop cooperation in youth policy. The corresponding agreement was signed at the Tajikistan-Belarus business forum in Dushanbe, BelTA News Agency reported.
The document was signed by Belarusian Education Minister Andrei Ivanets and Chairman of the Committee on Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of Tajikistan Abdullo Rahmonzoda. The parties believe that close ties and cooperation in youth policy will contribute to deepening mutual understanding between the younger generations of both countries.
The Tajikistan-Belarus business forum brought together representatives of 73 enterprises, organizations and universities of Belarus who presented their products at the Made in Belarus exhibition. A total of 24 agreements on cooperation in education and science were signed.
Within the framework of the official visit, the Belarusian delegation took part in the forum of university rectors to discuss the prospects for the development of inter-university cooperation between Tajikistan and Belarus hosted by Tajik National University. «In the face of serious challenges, it is important to implement common approaches to improving the quality of education matching the social and economic needs. We need to strengthen cooperation in science, youth affairs and we must use all possible mechanisms for this,» Education Minister Andrey Ivanets said welcoming the rectors of the two countries.
