Belarusian Specialist Appointed New Head Coach of the Tajik U-20 Football Team

DUSHANBE, 16.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Belarusian specialist Oleg Kubarev has been appointed the new head coach of the Tajik U-20 football team. At this post, he replaced Ahliddin Turdiev, who moved to another job.
On December 15, Kubarev at the general meeting of the team was presented as the new head coach. He will prepare U-20 team for the 2023 Asian Cup, which will be held from March 1 through March 18 in Uzbekistan.
He was tasked with advancing the team to the 2023 World Youth Championship.
The coaching staff of Kubarev included Alijon Turdinazarov and Rustam Kurbonov, who previously helped Ahliddin Turdiev. Another assistant head coach Fayz Davlatov will be responsible for working with goalkeepers.
Earlier Kubarev headed such Belarusian clubs as Gomel, Shakhtar (Salihorsk), Torpedo-BelAZ and Krumkachi. Additionally, he has experience in the Latvian clubs Spartak (Jurmala), Riga and Jelgava, as well as in the Moldovan clubs Zimbru and Dacia.
