Bokhtar State University Intends to Create a Korean Language Study Center

DUSHANBE, 01.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Nosir Khusrav Bokhtar State University intends to create a Korean language faculty and a center for studying the Korean language. This was said on November 29 at the meeting of the Chairman of the Khatlon region Kurbon Hakimzoda with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Tajikistan Kwon Dong Seok.
Hakimzoda noted that bilateral relations between Tajikistan and the Republic of Korea are developing year by year, which is in the interests of both parties.
The guest was provided with information about the possibilities of cooperation in various areas and about the conditions for business development by foreign entrepreneurs.
It was reported that in order to develop interregional cooperation, attract foreign capital and create joint ventures, a draft memorandum of understanding between the Khatlon region of Tajikistan and the Kangwon province of the Republic of Korea is being developed.
Ambassador expressed gratitude to the government of Tajikistan for the practical measures taken to develop the Korean language in the Khatlon region and readiness for comprehensive assistance in this direction.
