Tajikistan and Russia Discuss Training Specialists

DUSHANBE, 28.12.2022 (NIAT Khovar) – Yesterday, Deputy Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Population Shahnoza Nodiri met with the Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan Semyon Grigoriev.
Nodiri informed Grigoriev about the ministry’s activities, including in the sphere of migration, primary vocational education and adult education.
She noted that the main issues of cooperation between the ministry and the Russian side are the training of specialists who meet the requirements of domestic and foreign markets, training of citizens who carry out temporary labor activities in Russia, and regulation of the migration process.
Deputy Minister Nodiri emphasized that relations with relevant Russian authorities have been established at the required level, in particular, with the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, and the Federal Service for Labor and Employment.
The meeting also focused on the issue of implementing the provisions of the protocol of the 17th meeting of the Tajik-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.
Nodiri noted the legal foundations of bilateral cooperation in the field of migration.
“The online and offline events and meetings that we hold regularly will help solve existing problems and facilitate the registration and paperwork of labor migrants — citizens of Tajikistan who are going to Russia,” she added.
The parties also expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation and expressed hope for resolving issues related to the activities of the ministry, taking into account national interests.
