Tajik U-20 Football Team Starts Second Training Camp in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE, 13.01.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of preparations for the 2023 of the Asian Cup, Tajik U-20 football team has started the second training camp in Dushanbe.
Team’s head coach Oleg Kubarev invited 28 players to this camp, including 3 goalkeepers, 9 defenders, 10 midfielders and 6 forwards.
Due to bad weather, the team will conduct training in the indoor hall of the Juventus Academy in Dushanbe.
Following the training camp, the team will go to Antalya on January 19, where they will play a number of control matches within a month.
The 2023 Asian U-20 Cup will be held from March 1 through March 18 in Uzbekistan. Tajik team will play in Group C against Jordan (March 2), Oman (March 5) and South Korea (March 8).
Following the results of the tournament, the four best teams will advance to the 2023 World Cup in Indonesia.
