Tajik Women Football Team Will Play Against Philippines, Hong Kong and Pakistan at the 2024 Olympic Games Qualifiers

DUSHANBE, 12.01.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – According to the results of the draw for the first round of the women’s qualification tournament of the 2024 Olympic Games, Tajik team will play in Group E against Philippines, Hong Kong and Pakistan.
The first round will feature 26 women’s teams divided into seven groups, including five groups of four teams and two groups of three teams. The matches of the first round will be held from April 3 through April 11.
Only the winners of the seven groups will advance to the second qualifying round, where they will be joined by the five highest ranked teams in Asia, including North Korea, Japan, Australia, China and South Korea.
The top four teams from the second qualifying round (three group winners and the best runner-up team) will face each other in the third qualifying round. In the final round, the teams form two pairs, where they will play two matches — at home and away.
The winners of the pairs will receive the right to play in the women’s football tournament of the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

Group A: Uzbekistan, Jordan, East Timor, Bhutan.
Group B: Myanmar, Iran, Bangladesh, Maldives.
Group C: Vietnam, Nepal, Palestine, Afghanistan.
Group D: Thailand, Mongolia, Singapore, Sri Lanka.
Group E: Philippines, Hong Kong, TAJIKISTAN, Pakistan.
Group F: Chinese Taipei, Indonesia, Lebanon.
Group G: India, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan.
