Ministry of Health Receives Five Mobile Sanitary and Epidemiological Laboratories

DUSHANBE, 10.04.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The ceremony of transferring five mobile sanitary and epidemiological laboratories to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of Tajikistan took place on April 10 at the Istiklol Health Complex in Dushanbe.
The transfer of laboratories was organized as part of the COVID-19 mobile diagnostics project.
The project is being implemented as part of the Grant Agreement of the Eurasian Stability and Development Fund to finance the COVID-19 mobile diagnostics project, which was signed on October 8, 2021.
As part of the project, sanitary and epidemiological laboratories with a biological safety level were purchased, as well as test systems for organizing work on diagnosing COVID-19.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population and the Ministry of Finance participated in the implementation of the project, as well as the tasks of the project implementation group were entrusted to the Russian Foundation «AIDS Infosvyaz.»
