Tajik Delegation Attends the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund

DUSHANBE, 18.04.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – From April 10 through April 16 in Washington, the delegation of Tajikistan, headed by Assistant to the President for Economic Affairs Nematullo Hikmatullozoda, took part in the annual meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, which were held under the title Renewal of Development.
As part of the annual meetings, the members of the delegation took part in several high-level events, including the Forum of Action for Water, the events New Disaster Financing Mechanism, Development of the Electricity Market in the Central Asian Region and the Food Security Forum.
The delegation of Tajikistan also met with the leadership of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund and other responsible persons.
Also, the country’s delegation met with members of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Tajikistan and the United States of America, which focused on the economic, trade and investment opportunities of the parties.
