Tajikistan Intends to Create an Enterprise for the Production of Electric Vehicles

DUSHANBE, 20.04.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – The establishment of enterprises for the production of electric vehicles in Tajikistan was discussed on April 18 by the leadership of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and the participants of the first meeting of ministers responsible for foreign economic and foreign trade activities “China and Central Asia.”
The meeting was aimed at finding opportunities to stimulate bilateral and multilateral cooperation, increase foreign trade turnover, attract capital, and create joint ventures.
It was noted that Tajikistan attaches particular importance to strengthening multifaceted cooperation with China and the countries of Central Asia.
China has become one of the main trading partners and one of the largest investors for many Central Asian countries, including Tajikistan.
Concrete proposals were presented on the development of cooperation in the areas of trade, economy, digital trade, investment, development of transport and logistics, construction of roads and railways.
