Prize Fund of the 2023 Dushanbe Judo Grand Prix Is €100,000

DUSHANBE, 30.05.2023 (NIAT Khovar) – As part of the World Judo Tour, the 2023 Dushanbe Grand Prix will be held in Tajikistan from June 2 through June 4.
To date, 319 athletes from 43 countries have registered to participate in it. Tajikistan will be represented by 34 judokas, including 28 men, and 6 women.
The Grand Prix will bring athletes points towards the rankings for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The prize fund of the tournament is €100,000. The 1st place will receive €3,000 (judoka €2,400 and coach €600), 2nd place — €2,000 (judoka €1,600 and coach €400), 3rd place (2 athletes) – €1,000 (judokas €800 and trainers €200).
Dushanbe received the right to host Grand Prix tournaments as part of the World Judo Tour in the period 2023-2026.
The Judo Grand Prix takes place every season in different countries. Before the Olympic Games, some Grand Prix are licensed, in which judokas awarded points in the Olympic rating.
